Theme Song
How will you make it on your own?
This world is awfully big, and girl, this time you’re all alone.
But it’s time you started living.
It’s time you let someone else do some giving.
Love is all around, no need to waste it.
You can have the town, why don’t you take it?
You might just make it after all.
You might just make it after all.
Watch the opening intro (Seasons 2-7, 1971-1977)
Who can turn the world on with her smile?
Who can take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
Well it’s you, girl, and you should know it
With each glance and every little movement you show it
Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have the town, why don’t you take it?
You’re gonna make it after all
You’re gonna make it after all
Mary Tyler Moore is an American television sitcom created by James L. Brooks and Allan Burns that aired on CBS from September 19, 1970 to March 19, 1977. It was “one of the most acclaimed television programs ever produced” in US television history.
Mary Richards (Moore) is a single woman who, at age 30, moves to Minneapolis, Minnesota after breaking off a relationship with her boyfriend of two years. She applies for a secretarial job at TV station WJM-TV, only to find it has already been filled. To her surprise, she is offered the position of associate producer for the Six O’Clock News (which pays less than the job she originally sought). At work, she befriends her tough boss (with a soft side) Lou Grant (played by Edward Asner), sympathetic, long-suffering newswriter Murray Slaughter (Gavin MacLeod), and buffoonish anchorman Ted Baxter (Ted Knight).
Mary’s other acquaintances and friends include upstairs neighbor Rhoda Morgenstern (Valerie Harper), a self-deprecating, ex-New Yorker who becomes her best friend, their self-involved landlady, Phyllis Lindstrom (Cloris Leachman) and her precocious daughter Bess (Lisa Gerritsen). Characters introduced later are the acerbic, man-hungry host of WJM’s cooking program, The Happy Homemaker, Sue Ann Nivens (Betty White), sweet-natured, soft-spoken Georgette Franklin (Georgia Engel), Ted Baxter’s girlfriend, and African-American weatherman Gordon Howard (John Amos).
The show dealt with important issues (romance, death, career, friendships) in the lives of Richards and her friends in a comical way.

Theme Song
Tell me why, I love you like I do,
Tell me who, Can stop my heart as much as you,
Tell me all your secrets and I’ll tell you most of mine,
They say nobody’s perfect but it is really true this time,
I don’t have the answers,
And I don’t have a plan,
All I have is you,
So darling help me understand,
What we do,
You can whisper in my ear,
Where we go,
who knows what happens after here,
Let’s take each other’s hands,
As we jump into the final frontier,
I’m mad about you,
I’m mad about you,
so mad about you…
Mad About You was an American sitcom that aired on NBC from September 23, 1992 to May 24, 1999. It is being released on DVD and syndicated for reruns on Oxygen Network and Nick at Nite in the U.S. and on other stations across the globe.
The show starred Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt as a newly married couple in New York City. Reiser played Paul Buchman, a documentary film maker. Hunt played Jamie Stemple Buchman, a public relations specialist. Near the end of the show’s run, the couple had a baby daughter, whom they named Mabel.
The series focused mainly on the newlyweds while they dealt with everything from daily minutiae to major struggles. The show’s willingness to find comedy in realistic situations and observational dialogue garnered it comparisons to Seinfeld, another NBC comedy about thirty-somethings in New York City.[citation needed] Mad About You was more serious and sentimental, however.
Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser were paid $1 million per show for the last season, but ratings fell sharply that year. The series placed 65th weekly, with many critics accusing it of relying too heavily on slapstick humor and “very special episodes”.
The show’s theme song, Final Frontier, was composed by Reiser and Don Was. The theme was originally performed by Andrew Gold, but a version performed by Anita Baker made its debut midway through the 1997 season. Baker’s version was used for the rest of the show’s run and appears on the show’s soundtrack album. (Gold’s version is available on the collection Thank You For Being A Friend: The Best Of Andrew Gold.)

Seinfeld was pitched, like the self-parodying “show within a show” of season four, as a “show about nothing”. It is a show about four friends and their misadventures in the upper west side of Manhattan. Seinfeld stood out from the typical family- or coworker-driven TV sitcoms of its time. None of the Seinfeld characters were related by blood or worked together. Unlike most sitcoms, its episodes didn’t revolve around central dramatic events or contrived comic situations; instead, the plots focused on real life minutiae—such as waiting in line at the movies, going out for dinner, or buying a suit.
The show generally begins with Jerry Seinfeld delivering a stand-up comedy routine in a club (in reality, the studio); the theme of his act set-up the plot of each episode. This device deliberately blurred the distinction between the actor and his character. It also revealed where Jerry (the fictional comedian) got his material. Originally, the clips bookended the episodes, as well as functioning as cutscenes during the show. After season three, the cutscenes in the middle of the episodes became less common; after season five, the clips that ended the shows also became less common; and after season seven, the clips were discontinued. The show’s main characters, and many secondary or one-shot characters, were modeled after Seinfeld’s and David’s real-life acquaintances. Other recurring characters were based on well-known, real-life counterparts, such as the Soup Nazi (based on Soup Kitchen International manager Al Yegenah), Jacopo Peterman of the J. Peterman catalogue (nominally based on John Peterman), and New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Theme Song
She was working in a bridal shop in Flushing, Queens,
Til her boyfriend kicked her out in one of those crushing scenes.
What was she to do, where was she to go
She was out on her fanny.
So over the bridge from Flushing to the Sheffield’s door,
She was there to sell make up but the father saw more,
She had style, she had flair, she was there,
That’s how she became the Nanny.
Who would have guessed that the girl we described
was just exactly what the doctor prescribed?
Now, the father finds her beguiling, watch out C.C.,
The kids are actually smiling, such joie de vivre
She’s the lady in red when everybody else is wearing tan.
The flashy girl from Flushing, the Nanny named Fran.
The Nanny is a popular American situation comedy co-produced by Sternin & Fraser Ink, Inc. and Highschool Sweethearts Productions in association with TriStar Television for CBS. It first aired from November 3, 1993 to June 23, 1999 and starred actress Fran Drescher as Fran Fine, a charming and bubbly Jewish Queens native who casually becomes the pantyhose-clad nanny of three children from the New York upper class. The show’s theme song was written and performed by Ann Hampton Callaway.
Created and executive produced by Drescher and her then-husband Peter Marc Jacobson, The Nanny took much of its inspiration from Drescher’s personal life, involving names and characteristic based on near relatives and friends.[1] The show earned a Rose d’Or and one Emmy Award, out of a total of 13 nominations, and moreover garnered Drescher two Golden Globe nominations.[1] Since the early 2000s the sitcom also has spawned several foreign adaptions, loosley inspired by the original scripts. Beverly Hills, 90210 is a primetime television soap opera that aired from October 4, 1990, to May 17, 2000, on FOX in the United States and subsequently on various networks around the world. The show followed the lives of a group of teenagers living in the posh, star-studded community of Beverly Hills, California and attending the fictitious West Beverly Hills High School and then fictitious California University. The show was created by producers Aaron Spelling and Darren Star. The “90210″ in the title refers to one of the suburb’s postal codes (or ZIP Code).
Originally the central characters were fraternal twins Brandon (played by Jason Priestley) and Brenda Walsh (played by Shannen Doherty), who moved with their parents, Jim and Cindy, from Minneapolis to Beverly Hills. However, during the show’s run, its focus shifted substantially. The show addressed many topical issues like date rape, alcoholism, drug abuse, teenage suicide and teenage pregnancy.
The show gained popularity during the summer of 1991, when FOX aired a special “summer season” of the show while most other series were in reruns. The series became one of FOX’s top shows when it began its season that fall. Viewership increased dramatically and the cast members, particularly Priestley and Luke Perry, became teen idols, while the series would make actresses Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling household names

A spinoff from Beverly Hills 90210 (though not featuring any permanent cast members crossing over), Melrose Place is a small apartment block in the West Hollywood district of Los Angeles where several young singles and the occasional couple reside. In the story, 90210 teenager Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth) pursues one resident, the hunky, brooding carpenter Jake Hanson (Grant Show), but she returns to her zip code when she realizes they are from different worlds.
During the first season, the show was a relatively earnest serial drama focused on how young people come to Los Angeles to realize their dreams. Michael (Thomas Calabro) and Jane Mancini (Josie Bissett) were originally the stable couple in the apartment building, with Michael a sympathetic doctor and Jane a budding fashion designer. Their neighbors were flatmates Alison (Courtney Thorne-Smith) and Billy (Andrew Shue), who later began a love affair, and Matt Fielding (Doug Savant), a gay man who had no love life whatsoever during the first season.
Other original cast members were Rhonda (Vanessa A. Williams), an African-American aerobics instructor, and blonde, budding starlett Sandy Harling (Amy Locane). Sandy was written out after 13 episodes. Rhonda was removed after the first season. Early in the show’s run, photographer Jo Reynolds (Daphne Zuniga) arrived from New York to escape her alcoholic husband. Initially tough, Jo would eventually soften some and enjoy an on-again, off-again romance with Jake.

Theme Lyrics
Now this is the story all about how,
My life got flipped, turned upside down,
And I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there,
I’ll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air.
In West Philadelphia I was born and raised
On the playground is where I spent most of my days.
Chillin’ out, maxin’, relaxin all cool,
And all shootin’ some b-ball outside of the school.
When a couple of guys who were up to no good,
Started makin’ trouble in my neighborhood.
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared,
And said “You’re movin’ with your auntie and uncle in bel Air.”
I whistled for a cab, and when it came near,
The license plate said “fresh” and it had dice in the mirror.
If anything I could say that this cat was rare,
But I thought “Nah forget it, Yo home to Bel Air.”
I pulled up to the house about seven or eight,
and I yelled to the cabby “Yo homes, smell ya later.”
Looked at my kingdom, I was finally there,
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air.

Theme Lyrics
What ever happened to predictability?
The milkman, the paperboy, evening TV.
How did I get to livin’ here?
Somebody tell me, please.
The whole world’s confusing me.
Clouds as mean as you’ve ever seen.
Not a bird who knows your tune.
Then a little voice inside you whispers
Kid don’t sell your dream so soon.
Everywhere you look,
There’s a heart - a hand to hold onto.
Everywhere you look,
There’s a face of somebody who needs you.
Everywhere you look,
When you’re lost out there and you’re all alone,
Life is waiting to carry you home,
Everywhere you look. Everywhere you look.
Full House is a popular American television family sitcom that originally ran from 1987 to 1995 on the ABC network. It has retained popularity because of constant re-runs.
Full House is set in San Francisco, where Danny Tanner is left to raise his three young daughters D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle following the death of his wife, Pam. In season 8 episode Under the Influence, it was revealed that she had died in a car accident caused by a drunk driver.
Danny recruits his childhood friend Joey Gladstone and Pam’s younger brother Jesse Katsopolis to live with the family and help Danny with the three girls. Many of the show’s exploits revolve around the idea of three “swinging” bachelors trying to rein in the precocious antics of three girls, who frequently get the best of them. As is the case with many sitcoms, Danny’s daughters ignore the rules, only to learn their lesson afterward. The episodes usually end with a hug or kiss and with the girls sometimes admitting their wrongs and working out a compromise with their father, Joey, or Jesse. There is always a talk towards the end of the show. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Star Trek: The Next Generation won 18 Emmy Awards and, in its seventh season, became the first syndicated television show to be nominated for the Emmy for Best Dramatic Series. It was nominated for three Hugo Awards and won two, becoming the first television series since the original Star Trek to be recognized.
